French ‘Classique’ class in pictures

RC Contact

I came accross this great site, RC Contact, which aside from reporting on the very French Classique class (2wd, no wishbone suspension) has pages of pictures showing peoples weird and wonderful creations for this class. The beauty of this class is that the simplicity of the chassis encourages people to create their own. The picture above is a really cool concept design for this class, but there are others that aren’t so slick. There is also a nice history section with images that show cars throughout the years.

Check out the history section here

Indoor Holland 2007 cancelled

Indoor Holland

It seems that the hugely popular Indoor Holland race that took place for 1/8th scale off roaders will not be run next year after the organisers failed to find a suitable replacement venue for the event.

The statement from the organisers site -

Dear sponsors and participants of Indoor Holland,. With regret we inform you that there will be no Indoor Holland 2007 race. Looking for a new location was needed for several reasons. Indoor Holland organisation could not succeed to find a new location nearby the current location. Therefore we have to skip the Indoor Holland 2007 race. The past 5 years we could not achieve the high standard of racing at Indoor Holland without your support. We hope to have all things sorted out for 2008 and come back then stronger then ever before and hope we can rely on your support again.
