Cragg wins rained out Rally X Nats Rd3 Cragg remporte la pluie Rally X Nats Rd3 Categories - Events, Gas, Off Road, National, Racing , trackback
Last weekend saw the 3rd round of the BRCA 1/8th off road championship held at Holbeach which was a one off in that it is a two day event and is run to the EFRA christmas tree finals system. Le week-end dernier a vu la 3e ronde du BRCA 1/8th championnat hors route tenue à Holbeach qui a été un un large car il s'agit d'un événement de deux jours et est géré à l'arbre de Noël EFRA finale. Unfortunately the terrible weather that was forecast arrived and so the qualifying sessions were cut from 5 rounds to 3 and were run in very wet conditions. Malheureusement, les terribles conditions météorologiques qui était prévu est arrivé et les sessions de qualification ont été réduits de 5 séries de 3 et sont gérées dans des conditions très humides.
Round 1 saw HoBao returnee Dave Bailey take the win followed by Nats 1 ronde a vu HoBao rapatriés Dave Bailey prendre la victoire suivie par Nats round 1 1 tour winner Neil Cragg and gagnant et Neil Cragg HoBao new boy HoBao nouveau garçon David Crompton, thes guys were followed by Graham Alsop and Paul Bradby completing a CML/RB engine lock out of the top 5. David Crompton, THES gars ont été suivies par Graham Alsop et Paul Bradby remplir une LMC / RB moteur de lock-out de la page 5.
Round 2 saw Neil stretch the legs of the Associated RC8 and take the round quite comfortably from Jon Hazelwood and David Crompton. In round 3 the track was shortened slighty to remove the dirt corner that had become dangerous for the marshalls. In this round Neil obliterated the opposition and raced to a time that nobody could get within a second a lap of, Paul Bradby took second in round but 7 seconds behind the rampant RC8 and the next driver was Adrian Svensson who was 10 seconds adrift.This left the top 5 with Neil Cragg, Jon Hazelwood, David Crompton, Dave Bailey and Paul Bradby. Au cours de ce cycle de Neil oblitérée l'opposition et a couru à un moment où personne ne pourrait obtenir dans un deuxième tour d'un, Paul Bradby en deuxième ronde, mais en 7 secondes de retard sur la Rc8 rampante et la prochaine conducteur a été Adrian Svensson qui était de 10 secondes adrift.This quitté le top 5 avec Neil Cragg, Jon Hazelwood, David Crompton, Dave Bailey et Paul Bradby.
The weather had not improved the following morning and with half the pitting area under water the decision was taken to cancel the finals and take the results from qualifying. Le temps ne s'est pas améliorée le lendemain matin et avec la moitié des piqûres de domaine sous l'eau la décision a été prise d'annuler la finale et de prendre les résultats de qualification.
