In a repeat performance from the first round it was John Ermen, driving for Serpent, that took the top spot in qualifying as the only driver to hit 23 laps followed by Rick V for Mugen in 2nd. In the race itself it was a pretty easy run for John until a coming together with slowing team mate Rob Kuijper forced John into the pits to fix his body shell. This allowed Rick V to close the gap and despite some traffic problems for the leader he couldn’t get passed and thats how it stayed with John taking the win by less than a second from Rick V in 2nd and 3rd place going to Rik Veenma.
