The first round of the West German 1/8th scale off road qualification races for the 2008 Nationals took place last weekend at the MAC Essen track. A primeira rodada do Oeste alemão 1/8th escala corridas off road qualificação para o Nationals 2008 teve lugar a semana passada o MAC Essen pista. The event was open to both buggy and truggy classes and in the buggy class it was a win for Kyosho racer Daniel Reckward ahead of team mate Denis Macek in 2nd and Mugen driver Frank Derksen completing the podium in 3rd. O evento foi aberto a ambos os buggy e truggy classes e na classe que era um buggy para ganhar Kyosho racer Daniel Reckward à frente do companheiro de equipa na 2 ª e Denis Macek Mugen condutor Frank Derksen completar o pódio em 3o. Daniel managed to do the double for Kyosho, taking the win in the truggy class also in front of 2nd placed Mugen driver Alexander Munsch and Team Losi racer Thomas Wüller in 3rd. Daniel conseguiu fazer a dupla de Kyosho, tendo a vitória na classe truggy também 2o colocado na frente do motorista Mugen Alexander Munsch e Team Losi racer Thomas Wüller em 3o.
