The NiMh cells have a chemistry that allows the cell to ’self-discharge’ over a relatively short period, (days as opposed to weeks). 1. Equalise cells before charging if they have been stored (with charge) for more than 2/3 days. The above reccomendations for nimh cell care, does this specifically apply to the IB4200 cells, or is it a good general guideline for all cells, such as GP3300’s, 3700’s, etc., etc. ??? I think its more directed towards the IB42s as they are the batteries at the moment with the major “exploding” issues and so on.
