The EFRA Chairman for 1/10th IC Track, Franky Noens, has contacted us to inform everyone that EFRA will be very strict in checking bodyshells to ensure that they are indeed EFRA approved. Le Président de 1/10ème EFRA IC Track, Franky Noens, a communiqué avec nous pour informer tout le monde que EFRA sera très stricte dans le contrôle bodyshells afin de s'assurer qu'ils sont effectivement EFRA approuvé. When buying a bodyshell, you must always look if the homologation number is embossed in the body, preceeded by the word “EFRA”. Lorsque vous achetez une carrosserie, il faut toujours envisager si le numéro d'homologation en relief dans le corps, précédée du mot "EFRA". If this is not the case, you will not be allowed to use that bodyshell at an EFRA race, even if it had been approved in the past. Si ce n'est pas le cas, vous ne serez pas autorisé à utiliser que lors d'une carrosserie EFRA course, même si elle avait été approuvée par le passé.

Makes sence to me. Fait sens pour moi. But if that’s the final position then I’ll simply overcast it with a decal and if someone needs to check my true sportsman character he can do this from the inside of the bodyshell then. Mais si c'est la position finale alors je vais simplement couvert avec un décalque, et si quelqu'un a besoin de vérifier mon vrai caractère sportif, il peut le faire par l'intérieur de la carrosserie ensuite. But I hope that this damn ugly stamp down the window will go away. Mais j'espère que ce foutu laid down cachet de la fenêtre va disparaître. This is absolutely not needed there. Ce n'est absolument pas nécessaire.
Indeed the EFRA has done some really stupid things in the past! En effet, l'EFRA a fait quelques choses vraiment stupides dans le passé!

These stamps are hardly noticable when you are looking at the body and have been in place for years. I absolutely agree with that rule, but I don’t agree with the way EFRA tries to introduce this rule now. Je suis absolument d'accord avec cette règle, mais je ne suis pas d'accord avec la façon dont EFRA tente d'introduire cette règle maintenant.
We’re only 4 weeks before an EFRA European Championship and I think it is a little bit too late to tell the public that drivers won’t be allowed to drive, if hey don’t use bodies with embossed EFRA numbers. In the past some of the already homologated bodies could be used, even if they did not have the EFRA Number embossed but only the manufacturer’s number by which the body could be clearly identified. So what is the difference between a homologated body with EFRA number and exactly the same homologated body whith only the manufacturer’s number which is also listed in the EFRA list of homologated bodies? Alors quelle est la différence entre un organisme ayant homologué EFRA nombre et exactement le même corps homologués avec seulement du numéro de fabrication qui se trouve également dans la liste des homologuée EFRA organes?
