The opening round of the BRCA 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals was held last weekend at the Aldershot track under dry but very overcast conditions. L'ouverture tour de l'échelle 1/10ème BRCA 200mm nationaux s'est tenue le week-end dernier à la Aldershot piste par temps sec mais très couvert. Qualifying for the 45 drivers present, saw Serpent racer Mark Green take the top qualifying position in front of De qualification pour les 45 pilotes présents, a vu Serpent coureur Mark Green prendre le dessus en position de qualification devant new Xray signing Xray nouvelle signature Darren Johnson in 2nd and his team mate Mark Gilliland in 3rd. Darren Johnson en 2e et son coéquipier Mark Gilliland en 3e. In the final it was Johnson that got the holeshot with Mark slotting into the 2nd spot, and the 2 would battle it out for the entire race, swapping the lead a number of times. Dans le final, il a été Johnson qui a reçu le holeshot avec Mark créneaux dans la 2e place, et les 2, il serait bataille pour l'ensemble de la race, l'échange de la tête un certain nombre de fois. It looked like it would be a super close finish but a small mistake by Darren going on to the straight allowed Mark through and he could push a bit more to extend the lead at the end to about 4 seconds in front of the Johnson, with Gilliland having a steady run in 3rd a lap further back. Elle attend comme ce serait une super finition étroite mais une petite erreur de Darren passer à la ligne autorisés par Mark et il pourrait pousser un peu plus d'étendre l'initiative à la fin pour environ 4 secondes devant l'Johnson, avec Gilliland ayant cessé de fonctionner en 3ème un tour plus loin.
