The first round of the 2008 Portuguese National Championships for Electric touring cars took place last weekend on the large Coimbra track in the centre of Portugal and it was Speed Passion sponsored driver Rúben Francisco that took the win. A primeira rodada do Campeonato Nacional de 2008 Português Electric carros de turismo teve lugar na semana passada sobre o grande faixa Coimbra no centro de Portugal e foi patrocinado Speed Paixão condutor Rúben Francisco, que teve a ganhar. Sunday morning started with the qualifying heats and these saw Xray driver Nuno Gancho take the TQ spot followed closely by Rúben Francisco who ended on the same points. No domingo de manhã começou com a qualificação aquece e estes viram Xray condutor Nuno Gancho tomar as TQ spot seguido de perto por Rúben Francisco, que terminou no mesmo pontos. In the finals there was some bad luck for the pole man and this allowed Rúben to take full advantage, win two of the three finals to take the overall with his Schumacher. Nas finais, houve alguma má sorte para o pólo homem e que permitiu Rúben a tirar pleno partido, ganhar duas das três finais de tomar o global com o seu Schumacher.
