Daan Jacobs wins Dutch 10th Nats Rd1 Daan Jacobs vence neerlandês 10o nats Rd1 Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing , trackback
The opening round of the Dutch 1/10th 200mm Nationals was run last weekend in Groningen in the very north of the country. A rodada de abertura do neerlandês 1/10th 200 milímetros Nationals foi executado no último fim de semana em Groningen muito a norte do país. Changing weather conditions affected everyone and for the NK class it was Serpent racer Remy Moller that claimed the pole position in front of his team mate Ruud Schuitmaker. In the final Remy immediately got into the lead but unfortunately had technical problems with put him out and handed the lead to Schuitmaker with Kyosho driver Daan Jacobs just behind in 2nd. No final Remy imediatamente começou a ter a liderança, mas infelizmente teve problemas técnicos com a colocar-lhe as mãos e os levar a Schuitmaker com Kyosho condutor Daan Jacobs mesmo por trás da 2a. Koen Geurds had come from the 10th spot on the grid making up some places and could close on the leading pair, who were busy battling over position. Koen Geurds tinha chegado a partir do 10 º lugar na grelha até tornando alguns lugares e poderia fechar com o líder par, que foi ocupado durante battling posição. Unfortunately for Koen, in the last 5 minutes his tyres were worn out and this made it difficult to get into a battle with the front 2 drivers. Ruud and Daan had been at it the entire race and on the last lap Ruud made a small mistake at the end of the main straight, clipping the inside of the corner and spinning his car around (see sequence below), this was enough for Daan to get by and take the win with Ruud less than a second behind in 2nd and Koen in 3rd only under a second further back. Ruud e Daan tinha sido ela a toda a corrida na última volta e Ruud fez um pequeno erro no fim da reta principal, recorte o interior da esquina e girando em torno de seu carro (ver seqüência abaixo), este foi o suficiente para a Daan para obter a vitória e assumir a Ruud com menos de um segundo depois, em 2o e 3o apenas Koen, em menos de um segundo ainda mais para trás.
