The 2nd round of the 1/10th scale BRCA National Championships took place last weekend at the Brooklands track in south east England. La 2 ª ronda de la escala 1/10th BRCA Campeonato Nacional tuvo lugar el pasado fin de semana en la pista de Brooklands en el sudeste de Inglaterra. With Saturday being washed out, the organisers gave all competitors some running time on Sunday morning to obtain a setup for the track before going into qualifying. After a close fought qualifying battle it was Darren Johnson that claimed the TQ spot less than a second ahead of team mate Robin Hammett, with Serpent SDD driver Kyle Branson in third ahead of Mark Gilliland in 4th. The start of the final saw Darren and Robbin go out into the lead and while evenly matched on the tack, Johnson gained some time in the pitstops and this was the difference which gave him the win, with Hammet in 2nd and another Xray, that of Gareth Bell, in 3rd. El comienzo del final vio Darren y Robbin salen a la iniciativa y si bien corresponde por igual a la táctica, Johnson ganó algún tiempo en los pitstops y ésta era la diferencia que le dio la victoria, con Hammet en 2 º y otro Xray, el de Gareth Bell, en 3er.
