The 4th round of the BRCA 1/8th scale buggy Nationals were run over the weekend at the Clanfield circuit, a very fast & technical dirt track. For the first time this year the racers in attendance had great weather all day with temperatures hitting 25 degrees. The start of the main final saw a close battle between Alsop and Jon Hazlewood at the head of the field, with the pair pulling away from the field. After some mistakes from Alsop, Jon was able to stretch out a lead and left Alsop battle it out with Boots. A mistake by the young Associated driver meant that he would finish in 3rd, behind Alsop in 2nd, with Hazlewood taking the win on his return to Xray.
