Hobao have released an updated version of the hugely popular Hyper 7 TQ, which has become one of the world’s most popular ready-to-run off road buggies. The new version for 2008, the HoBao Hyper 7 TQ ‘Black’, includes larger big bore shock absorbers, a Hyper 21 Race 3-port engine, and stylish black finish aluminium chassis components.

Sorry but this is a rip off. HoBao what are you doing? I rate your company and products..i really do, but this is a sham.

£230 for an out of date buggy because you have painted it black!!! and as for the “race” spec engine, first time ive seen a “race” spec engine with a pull start on it.

Id understand it better if you made the buggy as a limited edition to celebrate the obvious and worldwide success of the 7. Maybe with nice shocks, a proper engine, nice metals or a bit of carbon fibre but there is none of that here.

Your better than this Hobao, Waaaaay better than this.

RTR are designed to get people into the hobby not satisfy seasoned drivers. R/C is no different than anything else in life you get what you paid for. The buggy will be a good platform for someone to start with if they are beginers in the 1/8 buggy scene.
