Steen Graversen wins Danish Nationals

Last weekend saw the final round of the Danish Electric TC Nationals held in Glostrup and there were 17 drivers participating the modified class. The TQ once again went to Steen Graversen, who attended 5 of the 6 races this year and has taken TQ and won all 5, this weekend being no exception. The battle for the 2nd and 3rd positions was between Jonas Andersson from Sweden, Søren Eskildsen, Emil Rath and Søren Holst with the final result ending up as they had qualified, with Jonas Andersson taking 2nd and Søren Eskildsen 3rd. The overall result for the Nationals saw Steen take the National title for Kyosho ahead of upcoming Schumacher racer Søren Eskildsen in 2nd, with newly announced Tamiya racer Jonas Kærup taking 3rd.

JConcepts Rulux Half-ups standard offset

Large diameter wheels are the craze in 1/8th off-road for blue and black grooved conditions and JConcepts is right on target with Rulux Half-ups truck wheels in standard offset. Half-ups refer to the bead mounting diameter sized at 3.7” for today’s low profile racing tires and these truck wheels make a statement with their large appearance, spoke design and superior inner rib design. Half-ups wheels also incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. Fits 1/8th trucks with 17mm hex and standard offset.

The kit features the first commercially available 1/8th scale electric specific chassis along with Tekno RC’s innovative patent pending Elektri-Clutch system, which allows the racer to tune the power delivery of the hottest brushless motors.
