ABEC35 Type-X bearings
ABEC35 have released their long awaited Type-X bearings following months of R&D, their drivers having tested them for 2-3 months with satifactory results. They are very smooth and have super long life time, with the company claiming that these new bearings work best mounted into composite parts. There are a total of 33 sizes, with the first lot available for 1/10th & 1/8th competition nitro on road. The second lot will be for 1/10th competition electric on road and buggies, with the final lot for 1/12th scale pan chassis’ and 1/8 nitro buggies & truggies. The bearings can be easily identified by the shield colour, with the red shields having oiled steel balls, the orange shields having oiled ceramic balls, the medium grey shields having greased steel balls and finally the light grey shields having greased ceramic balls.

I tried the ceramic bearing for the first time at the KM Asia Cup last week, they were SMOOOOOTH.
I won the Team Champion (and I pay for them) with the bearing too!
Oiled so they are much smoother than greased.
