Xray T2 Aluminium adjustable turnbuckles
Xray have released new black anodised aluminium adjustable turnbuckles for use on the T2 range of cars. Available in 2 lengths, 39mm and 26mm these M3 turnbuckles have been manufactured from strong, lightweight 7075 T6 aluminum. Precision threading for fine toe adjustment they are sold in a set of 2 and each turnbuckle offers a 50% saving in weight.

So the top secret hydy developed!! spring steel turnbuckles where not so good after all. They have also abandoned the spring steel for driveshafts.

Not really. I’ve been racing Xray since 2000 and never had a failure involving spring steel parts. These parts, along with the Alloy drive shafts are simply a lightweight part.
