Jefferies, Copsey & Randall win at Rug Racers Rd3

Round 3 of this seasons Muchmore Rug Racers series took place at Woodson Park and attracted a strong entry including some top UK national drivers. Drivers were split across three classes for stock, pro stock and open modified, all running on the controlled Sweep pre mounted tyre. In the open modified class a good quality entry included Elliott Harper, who was using this meeting to debut his new Tamiya, and UK national touring champion Chris Grainger who was also giving the Schumacher Mi4 a run out on carpet. Elliott took FTD in the final run of qualifying but it was the TC5 of Olly Jefferies that took the overall victory for Associated, Olly winning the second leg of the three leg finals which he followed up with a two second places, Elliott was second with Schumacher’s Matt White completing the podium in third.
