Western Germany 2010 nitro calendar

Having covered the racing from the West German region in depth last season, we plan to do the same this year and to get things underway we have the full regional calendar for 2010. A total of 14 races will be held in the 2010 season in Western Germany in the 1/8 and 1/10 nitro on-road classes. The Western German Championship 1/8 (class 1 and 2) will be held in four rounds as well as the Western German Championship 1/10 (200mm). Both are the qualification for the German Nationals, like the regional series’ in the South, East, North and also Mid-Germany.

German Nationals: 22-26 September – Roetz

01/02 May – round 2 – Dueren
29/30 May – round 3 – Bad Breisig
03/04 July – round 4 – Oberhausen

German Nationals: 08-12 September – Leipzig

Additionally to these championship races, the Nitro-West-Masters will offer exciting race weekends in Western Germany. Four rounds will count for this Nitro-West-Masters, the new name for the last year´s NRW-Challenge. This series with its long finales will be open for all 1/8 and 1/10 drivers.

Furthermore in Oberhausen a 3h race for 1/10 will be held as an early season opener on 27th of March, and the 3h race for 1/8 will mean the end of 2010 outdoor season on 6th of November.

The race calendar was fixed on the annual meeting of the west district of Germany’s rc car association DMC. Heinz Kroezemann was once again elected as head of the DMC district west while Nicole Boers was re-elected as section manager 1/8 and 1/10 nitro on-road.
