Toy Fair 2010 – Traxxas

Traxxas were showing off their wares again this year with the focus on their stand on the new Slash 4×4. This RTR short course truck is supplied with the Velineon brushless sytem, power cell battery and the company’s new TQ 2.4Ghz radio. This shaft driven car also includes Revo spec differentials, torque control slipper clutch and new steering system. There is also a new Platinum edition of the Slash 4×4, a factory works race truck that comes pre built with a clear body, servo, motor and speed controller and ready to accept your own battery and receiver. The car also comes with front and rear anti-roll bars, aluminium shock absorbers, aluminum rear up rights and aluminium front C-hubs.

Traxxas also had the brushless edition of the E-Maxx on show, which is based on the very popular 4×4 monster truck but now comes supplied with the Castle Creations Mamba Monster brushless system than can propel the truck to over 65mph. The car also features new 17mm hex hubs and comes supplied with dual Power Cell 7-cell battery packs. Also new is the company’s TQ 2.4Ghz radio that features the new Traxxas link automatic model recognition which automatically loads a car’s radio settings when it is recognised by the transmitter. Perfect for users who wish to use the one transmitter with multiple cars.
