Dirk Wischnewski wins French 1/10th EFRA GP

Last Weekend the first Efra GP was held at the MAH Herrlisheim track in France. The track was open for free practise from Thursday till Friday, which was used by lot´s of Drivers. On Saturday morning we had 4 rounds of qualifications and two more on Sunday morning. After the qualifying it was current European Champion Dirk Wischnewski that took the pole position ahead of former World Champion Adrien Bertin, with Eric Dankel and Manuel Huber completing the direct qualifiers. From the Semi Finals Patrick Schäfer, Thomas Günsel, Oliver Mack, Bruyer Antony, Maxim Claes and Nicolas Bougnoteau bumped up into the main final.

From the start of the final Dirk lead the race but unfortunately on the 43rd minute he had a broken glow plug. His crew changed the plug but he flamed out again, but luckily the distance was too big back to 2nd and Antony Bruyer wasn’t able to pass for lead, as he was also running out of tyres. Dirk won the race followed by Antony in 2nd and Shepherd front man Patrick Schäfer in 3rd.
