Masao Tanaka wins Japanese 1/8th Nationals
The Japanese 1/8th scale on road gas Nationals were held this weekend at Keitune Speedway in Ichihara. A relatively low attendance of 52 drivers, but with plenty of quality in the pack it was sure to be a tough race for everyone. Qualifying went the way of Takahiro Terauchi, taking the pole position by 2 seconds after 6 rounds to line up ahead of Hideo Kitizawa in 2nd and Masao Tanaka in 3rd. The final saw problems for pole man Terauchi, who would end the race in 10th position, while up front Tanaka would drive a clean race to pull off the race win crossing the line 8 seconds in front of Ken Furukawa in 2nd and Takeshi taking 3rd.

I believe 3 guys were running the new mugen. Takahiro Terauchi, the guy who TQ’d, was running the new MRX-5.
Anyone know what car Tanaka was using?

Tanaka was running a Serpent 966
