Vampire Racing LiFe receiver packs
Vampire Racing have presented their first products specially for nitro racers. These two new LiFe receiver batteries are available as straight and hump pack, in 1600mAh and 1900mAh respectively, and because they are 6.6V they can be used without a LiPo regulator in your nitro car.

Still wondering if this is really true.
Battery manufacturers claim that they can be used without any voltage regulator in between, but I’ve not seen any Receiver or Servo manufacturer say the same…..
2 cel LiFe fully charged gives, what.. 8.00 Volts?… I wonder…..

Spektrum recievers can handle 9.6v. And there are high voltage servos. But a nimh fully charged gives 8v as well. Well between 7 and 8v.

Halo!
Life when is REAL LIFE gives 6.6V after charge (charging cc/cv 3.3V per 1 cell).
So life 2S don’t need electronics, just put them to rx.
Don’t charge life on lipo program in charger, it will destroy them
quick.
Regards!
