Merlin Depta wins RCCM Cup Rd2
The 2nd round of the RCCM Cup Series was held at the Hollmoorring in Munster, North Germany recently, with mostly dry weather for all competitors. Starting from position 3 with his Max powered S733, Merlin was able to take the lead in the first lap and pull away the rest of the race to finish four laps in front of Thomas Einbeck and Olaf Koch.

Cavalieri & Maifield win at Offroad Shootout
Traditionally, the Hot Rod Hobbies Offroad Shootout has been a major event on the electric offroad series and this year was no different. The racers were greeted with a great track layout that was fair and had a wide range of obstacles from rollers, to triples, step-downs, step-ups and elevation change.

JConcepts Punisher for B44

LRP ZR.21X Spec 2 buggy engine
LRP have released their ZR.21X Spec 2 buggy engine, which is a completely new nitro engine compared to the previously available version. For a significantly better heat dissipation the engine received a new cooling head with tapered fins, as well as a finned combustion chamber to keep the temperature of the glow plug in check. The new carburetor feature changeable 6.0 & 7.0mm venturi inserts and instead of the usual aluminium the carburetor is made from the more rigid Ergal alloy, the result being much smoother running.

Enrico Burato wins AMSCI Classic championship
The 2010 Italian AMSCI 1/8th Classic National championships were held last weekend at the Road Race Riccione track under sweltering conditions, with the temperature never dropping below 34C. After four rounds of qualifying it was Paolo Gaggiola that took the pole position in front of Ometto Nicola i 2nd and Enrico Burato taking 3rd. In the final it was Burato that would come through for the win, setting a new track record to finish 3 laps ahead of Ometto in 2nd, with Paolo a further 2 laps back in 3rd.

Stiles TQs & Wins Rd3 of AMC/CARS Summer Shootout
Last weekend saw round 3 of the popular AMC/CARS summer shootout series take place at the home of UK 1/12th scale racing, Chesterfield. The first two rounds of the series saw dominant TQ and win performances from former British champion and V-Dezign/Nosram driver Andy Griffiths. With each drivers’ best 3 scores from the 4 rounds counting towards the overall standings, Andy looked to be the favourite for the title at the series’ half way stage. However, Andy was absent for round 3, leaving the door open for his competitors to claw back some points.

Sweep Racing EXP tire glue
Sweep Racing have released new EXP tire glue, which uses the same glue material as their popular Strong tire glue, but it now comes with two stainless extension nozzles and silicone tubes which hold the nozzles tight. This makes the tire gluing job super easy, reducing any mistake such as dropping glue on the tires surface. Extra nozzles and silicone tubes are also available in sets of 5.
