Paul Bradby joins Speed Passion
Speed Passion have announced that front running UK Associated driver Paul Bradby has joined their team from 2011. The multiple European Championship finalist had this to say:
I would like to thank all the guys at Nosram/LRP, especially Reto Koenig, for their help and support over the previous two years. I have enjoyed my time with them and wish them all the best for future races. I’m now looking forward to racing for Speed Passion and bringing them more success over the coming years.

Double Victory for Cavalieri at TLR SS Rd1
As the new year breaks in 2011, Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri joined 230+ of his fellow racers for the first round of the TLR Supercross Series at West Coast R/C Raceway on Sunday January 2nd. Gearing up for the Reedy Race at the same facility at the end of January, Cavalieri took the victory in both 2wd and 4wd Modified ahead of Mike Truhe. Joining Cavalieri in the mains for Team Associated were Brent Thielke, Chris Jarosz and Steven Hartson. All the drivers used the winning combination of the Factory Team B4.1 and Factory Team B44.1 along with the LRP SXX V2 speed controls while Thielke, Hartson and Jarosz all utilized Reedy batteries.

Martin Karner leaves Kyosho
We have received a notice that after 5 successful years with Team Kyosho, top Austrian driver Martin Karner has left Kyosho looking for a new challenge. Martin released the following statement:
I would like to say thank you for the successes during a team-member of Kyosho and also for the great working together in all the time. With Kyosho I had lots of successes like two times Austrian Staatsmeister in 2007 and 2008, European pre-finalist in 2009 and two time Kyosho-Masters-Winner in Italy and in Bischofsheim. Especially I would thank Susanne Espig, Thomas Hoffmann, Daniel Haas and Frank Lemke for the great support on all of the events. You are a great team! I wish you lots of luck and all the best for the future of Kyosho.

RC Racing – Series 5 Episode 2

The producers of the RC TV show RC Racing were in touch to inform us that the 2nd episode of their 5th season premiers this Monday on European cable channel Motors TV.
Episode 2 Gives us all a chance to remember what the sun looks like, as it features full multicamera action from the European 1/8th Buggy Championship held in Portugal and the 3rd A final from the ISTC World Champs in Germany. Plus more news, views, interviews and features.

Team Orion re-sign King, Tebo & Cavalieri
As of today, current IFMAR 1/8 Nitro Buggy World Champion Cody King, current ROAR 1/10 Modified Truck, 1/8 Buggy & Truggy National Champion Jared Tebo, along with current ROAR 1/10 4wd Modified Buggy National Champion Ryan Cavalieri will once again join forces under the Team Orion name. All three drivers have reached that World Championship milestone and are looking to capture more in the upcoming years.
