Toy Fair 2011 – Agama

Spanish Factory driver Daniel Vega was on hand at the Agama stand to run us through the full range of available option parts for the A8 Evo. The car itself remains the same but the different tuning and strengthening parts has grown. Starting from the front there is the new aluminium 10 degrees caster blocks as well as new spring steel material drive shafts and shorter diff drive cups. For the shock absorbers there is new larger shock caps to allow for more air volume while the shock shafts and pivot balls are coated in titanium nitride. The servo saver pivot posts are now available in coated aluminium for extra strength while the main drivetrain connection parts are now also available in the same material.

The fuel tank is made from a new more opaque material and the lid has been improved to ensure it closes fully and that it completely seals to improve the pressure. There is an all new anti roll bar front and rear which now bends in right angles for a much tidier result. Finally there is a neat optional aluminium switch plate that uses a double plug banana connector to turn on and off your RX. This new switch comes with the connectors and can only be used with the purpose made plate. Finally there are some aluminium body posts to replace the plastic versions that come with the kit.
