CSO Racing have introduced a line of clutch bell pinion gears for the Xray RX8 1/8th scale. Made from 7075 T6 hard coated aluminium, they will be available in 15T, 16T, 19T, 20T & 21T versions to allow you to fine tune your clutch for all different tracks.

Venom extends line of LiPo packs
Venom have released an extensive line of LiPo packs for a variety of applications, capacities and price ranges. Starting with Venom’s highest performance LiPo series to date. Three new 70C continuously rated hard case car packs to handle today’s high performance power systems. For both 1/10th scale and 1/8th scale vehicles, there is the 5800mAh 70C 2S, 5300mAh 70C 2S and 5300mAh 70C 4S packs. These race ready packs come equipped with heavy-duty 12AWG silicone wire leads and the Venom Universal Plug System, all protected by a durable hard plastic case.

LRP Vector K4 brushless motor
The LRP Vector K4 is great brushless motor for all R/C drivers, whether offroad or onroad, the K4 is suitable for nearly all applications. It is available in five different windings, from 6.5T to 17.5T, and is fully rebuildable. The K4 includes many features of the successful Vector X-12 Stock-Spec competition motor, including the sensor positioning, oversized ball bearings, and HDS technology. The rotor is equipped with a 5mm sized shaft, which makes the K4 motor extremely robust. For weight reduction, the front part of the two-piece housing is made of heat-dissipating metal in a gun-metal look, while the rear part consists of high-quality synthetic material. LRP’s K4 brushless motors come with pre-soldered silicone flex wires with gold coated connectors.

X-Power have released the latest in its popular line of Foam Racing Wheels for the dNano, the Super Wide. Available in 19RA size, soft & very soft compounds, standard ‘RA’ size rear wheels are 5.5mm in width while the ‘Super Wide’ is 8mm, giving a considerably larger contact patch for even more grip on surfaces like carpet and hard plastic circuits like the Kyosho Home Circuit.

DE Racing D8 Hara Edition mud guards
DE Racing has just released these new mud guards for the Hot Bodies D8 Hara Edition. They have been altered from the originals to accommodate the use of optional threaded hinge pins in the rear hubs as found on the Hara Edition. Sold as a pair, they come supplied with fasteners.

Kyle Branson wins first round of BRCA 200mm Nationals
Reigning British Champion Kyle Branson, who had been busy attending the 1/8th Worlds in Miami, sent us this report from the first round of the BRCA 1/10th 200mm nationals was held at the end of March in the Cotswoulds district. The weather forecast looked promising for the weekend, the sun was shining Saturday morning which looked set to be a really nice day. The traction levels were not too bad to start off with, but with plenty of cars going around the track it soon increased. During practice on Saturday most of the top drivers was separated by a few tenths setting up the scene for some close racing for Sunday.

Hupo Honigl dominates 2wd at Austrian opener
The first round of the Austrian 1/10th off road nationals was held last weekend in Simmering, Vienna home to the 2003 European Championships. Hupo took his DEX210 Prototype to a comprehensive victory. Hupo took all four qualifiers to secure overall TQ and set about the finals in the same manner, taking both opening legs of the A-Main to take the win. Hupo took 3 out of the 4 qualifiers in the 4WD class with his DEX410 for the TQ position and #1 for the finals. An amazing series of finals which saw battles with fellow Team Durango star Martin Kriel for the lead. Hupo needed to take the last leg of the A final to take the win and lead by 4-5 seconds until close to the end when a bearing failure cost him the win. Team Durango DEX410s finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Associated high-torque slipper pads
Associated have introduced their new high-torque slipper pad design with maximum surface area for more torque capacity. It allows for adjusting drive torque bias on the SC10 4×4 using the included decoupled slipper and is recommended by team drivers for the SC10 4×4 outer slipper pad (rear drive) for more rear drive out of corners and for jumps. Suitable for the SC10 4×4, SC10 FT, B4.1 FT, T4.1 FT, B44.1 FT and all older generations of SC10, B4, T4, B44.
