2011 JConcepts Southern Nationals – Announcement

The organisers of this year’s JConcepts Southern Nationals & R/C Expo in West Monroe, LA that takes place on October 21-23 got in touch to tell use about their event. Last year they had 260 entries and this year they will have over 325 paid entries, more have entered but entry is capped. The event will take place in a 5000 seat arena with a 300′x190′ dirt floor that they will build a 100′x200′ track in the center with a 15′ tall drivers stand. Adam Drake said last year that stand was the 2nd largest that he’s ever seen after the one at the World’s in Las Vegas. The facilty is air conditioned along with an exhaust system so that the race environment is second to none. Ryan Lutz, Barry Pettit, Jason Rouna & Jason Branham are some of the marquee names that are confirmed to race at this years event and they are waiting on more confirmations for more nationally recognized drivers.
