Amezcua wins BL class at 2011 Gas Champs
Travis Amezcua from Mugen Seiki, Reedy, AKA, LRP, HandleIT Hobbies and Airtronics took home the victory this past weekend in the 1/8 electric class at the 2011 Thunder Alley Gas Champs with his MBX6 ECO. With the new LRP iX8 and the Dynamic 8 LRP motor, Travis put the new combo to work and the system ran flawlessly all weekend long offering the right amount of power for the very technical track layout that Thunder Alley had to offer. With the 11 minute plus mains the Reedy 5500 4S provided plenty of runtime for the event with room to spare and all this power was put to the ground with AKA rubber. Travis would start from the number one spot for both main events and would take victory in both mains to clam the 2011 electric 1/8 title over Ryan Lutz in 2nd and Ryan Cavalieri in 3rd.
