Swiss nitro on-road champs Rd5

The recent fifth round of the Swiss nitro on-road championships took place at the permanent track in Schaffhausen. The Saturday and therefore the practice sessions where highly affected by the poor weather with loads of rain that called for the prepared rain chassis. Also the qualifiers where distracted by the rain but Biernat, Martinelli, Pesenti and Albanese got everything together in the 1/8th Expert class and took the top 4 sports. Come Sunday morning the weather showed a completely different side with loads of sun and mild temperatures. Bumping up from the semi B where Luca Martinelli, Henzi Thomas, Reto Felix and Christoph Pethoud.

The semi A was a very fast affair as the track got better and better with Silvio Pesenti, Simon Kurzbuch, Mattia Pesenti, Remy Hasler, Ali Renato and Sabrina Lechner being the lucky drivers to bump up. The final of the 1/8th Expert class was dominated by Silvio who was super fast on his home track. He even was able to do two tyre stops and still got the win from Simon Kurzbuch and Luca Martinelli who only stopped once for tyres. Reto Felix, Remy Hasler and Sabrina Lechner all got into trouble at some point of the race meaning they could not chase the Top 3 for the podium. The 1/10th 200mm final went to Traugott Schär, 1/8th Amateur to Pasquine Claudio.
