Peter Jovanovic double at Australian Nationals

The Australian AARCMCC National IC titles Championships were held at the QRCCRA Brendale track in Brisbane, over 4 days last weekend. The event attracted drivers from New Zealand and locations in Australia nearly 4000 kilometres away, with nearly 100 entries in total. Timed practice was made on Thursday, with qualifying and lower finals on Friday and Saturday and finals on Sunday. In the 1/10th class Capricorn driver Peter Jovanovic started from TQ position and was never headed winning from local driver Jeff Hamon (Mugen) in 2nd and another local Jason Dorn (Xray) in 3rd. The 1/8th scale class was also won by Peter Jovanovic from TQ position, with Jeff Hamon (Mugen) again 2nd and Glenn Breugem (Mugen) in 3rd. Jeff had a better start than Peter, but Peter took the lead not long after and was never headed after that.
