Serpent SRX2 alloy C-hubs & brass steering arms

Serpent SRX2 alloy C-hubs & brass steering arms

Following yesterday’s release of anti-roll bars for the MM and RM version of the Spyder SRX2 buggy Serpent now also introduce aluminium C-hubs, brass steering arms and a carbide thrust race for the ball differential for their 2WD line of buggies. Starting with the castor hubs, the parts are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, they come black anodised and offer three upper camber link positions to alter the roll centre settings. Included with the hubs come suitable steel ball studs.

Also new are three brass steering knuckle arms that resemble the geometry of the standard #1 to #3 plastic arms but are made of heavy brass material to reduce unwanted oversteering reactions and to calm down the steering at high speed. The steering arms come as pair including one left and one right arm. Last but not least comes the carbide thrust bearing for the standard ball differential. Equipped with hardened diff plates and super-hard tungsten carbide balls the bearing improves the diff action and durability.
