Axial Spawn bodyshell & Yeti RTR option parts

Axial Spawn bodyshell & Yeti RTR option parts

Axial has a range of new option parts for the Wraith, SCX10, AX10 and the Yeti and Yeti XL available. First up is the Spawn body, a classic SUV body with a modern twist. The body is usable with the SCX10 and AX10 and, after cutting the wheel arches and bumpers, it also fits the Wraith to give the truck an aggressive appearance. Included come headlight buckets for separately available LED lights, pre-cut decals, window masks and instructions.

Next up is the Wraith driver interior set. Designed to work with the Spawn body the moulded driver figure insert makes for a realistic rock racer look. Included with the part, that is made from .040 polycarbonate, comes a decal sheet but the needed helmet is available separately. Also new is a 17mm hex hub set for the Yeti XL. The industry standard hex hubs come hard anodised, with a 3x17mm steel pin and set screw. The machined serrated 17mm nut helps eliminate wheels from coming loose by biting into the wheel as they are tightened down. Made as an upgrade for the RTR Yeti XL are 16x39mm front axle stubs. They are designed for the 17mm hex hubs and are a direct replacement on the kit version of the Yeti XL. Last but not least in the line of Yeti XL RTR upgrades are rear axle shafts, again made for the use with the 17mm hex hub set. Other new Yeti XL options include M5x75mm and M4x80mm left and right handed turnbuckles, and lightweight 6.8x8x3mm aluminium ball inserts. Last but not least and made for the 1/10th Yeti come 14.7x4mm titanium-nitride coated steering king pins. They are constructed from steel for strength and feature a hard-wearing surface treatment for durability.
