2014/15 Mibosport Cup finale – Announcement

The final round of the 2014/15 Mibosport Cup will be held on the 14th of March at the Hotel Sport in Hrotovice. The event will see the attendance of special guest Ronald Völker who will compete in the Touring Car Modified and 2WD Buggy classes. The Touring Car Modified standings before the final round see Kuba Šimurda 13 points in front of Dominic Vogl but Jiří Vyšín, who is currently 11th as he only attended at three rounds, is also a hot candidate for the top spot. The Stock LRP class sees Oliver Havránek, Aleš Pelikán, Jürgen Horn, René Kölbel and Bartlomiej Zambrzycki all having a chance to take the overall victory.

The 1/12th scale class sees a nip-and-tuck race between Christian Schiff and Aleš Pelikán, who both scored 380 points in total. Behind them, Martin Zvára is only 2 points away and even Igor Lipták, who didn’t attend the first round, can take the overall win. Miloš Saturka leads the standings of the Formula class but it will be hard for him to challenge René Kölbel, who won the first two races, or Mario Sailer, who won the last race, for the overall win.

In the 2WD Buggy class a battle for a win among Radek Flek, Marcel Rekettye and Kája Novotný is awaited. Radek leads the current standings by only 2 points from Marcel. Even though Kája is on lower position in the current standings, he has got a real chance to finish in the top 3 overall. The 4WD Buggy class is lead by Marcel Rekettye but Kája Novotný, who won the last two races, is a big candidate for the overall win while Maximilian Hauenschild is in the position to finish in the top 3 also.
