HIT Winter Series Rd3 – Report

The HIT Winter Series recently resumed with round 3 that attracted more than 120 entries to run in several electric on-road classes. In the premier class of Touring Open, Kuba Simurda took the TQ and also the overall win from Xray teammate Jiri Vysin. Vita Hola (Xray) grabbed the final podium spot from Pavel Martinec (Xray), who came all the way from the 8 spot on the grid.

The Touring Stock class looked like guest driver Jürgen Horn would make a clean sweep after taking the TQ in the qualifiers but the finals proved everybody wrong. Jürgen wasn’t able to match his qualifying performance and so Oliver Havranek took the wins in the opening legs to grab the overall victory early. Jürgen was able to bring home the second place in front of Vita Hola (all Xray). Manfred Pasch (Xray) and Karel Kratochvíl (Xray) completed the top 5 result.

HIT Winter Series Rd3 – Report

In the newly added 1/12th scale class eight drivers battled for the win. Although Kuba Simurda set the early pace, Igor Liptak would grab the TQ to start from pole position into the finals. The finals then had Kuba holding the upper hand, coming from the 2 spot on the grid, to leave Igor on the runner-up spot. Roman Krejci took the runner-up spot from Roman Bilek. The top 5 was completed by Zdenek Benes.

The Formula class had Vit Parak coming out fastest in the finals. At some distance Tomas Brodsky grabbed the runner-up spot while Libor Holub completed the top 3 result. Ludek Szostek lead the best of the rest with Tomas Rajdus rounding out the top 5.

HIT Winter Series Rd3 – Report

The LeMans class, using 1/10th pan cars, was won by Roman Krejci but as he was running non-competitive and so Igor Liptak took the win from Ludek Szostek in second and Libor Holub in third. Miroslav Jurenka reached the fourth place overall in front of Ladislav Holásek.

The “crazy shaped box” class of Super Race Trucks is gaining more and more popularity and so a total of ten trucks made up an exciting A-main grid and it was Roman Štalmach who brought home the win from second placed Leoš Zádrapa. Tomáš Brodský completed the top 3 from Olin Bětík and Petr Jaremejko in fourth and fifth respectively.

Finally in the Hobby category the youngest member of the Rajdus family showed his talent in the qualifiers. Unfortunately he suffered signs of illness in the finals so his father completed the task. TQ holder Igor Kratochvíl finished in second from Igor Vlahovič. Radko Černohous Jr. ultimately took the fourth spot from Lukáš Grabiec in fifth.
