Kukla & Novotny win rained out Czech Nats Rd2

The second round of the Czech 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held at the Dolni Bukovsko track. In the 1/8th Nitro Buggy class, Xray’s Kaja Novotny took the win in the opening qualifier but technical issues for Kaja in Q2 and Q3 made way for David Kukla (Xray) who left Jiri Mara (Serpent) and Max Gotzl (Xray) behind in second and third.

In the 1/8th E-Buggy class Kaja Novotny (Xray) made a clean sweep by winning all three qualifying rounds to grab the overall TQ from Ales Bidovsky and Milan Mudra (both Xray).

During the first E-Buggy semi a huge thunder storm came up, finishing the race and after about 40 minutes the rain stopped, but racers and organisers agreed on calling it a day and the results were taken based on the qualifying results.
