Japanese company SMJ have introduced a new carbon fibre main chassis plate for the Xray T4’16, new 25mm touring car springs as well as a multi-purpose body repair tape. Starting with the chassis, the part is cut from high-quality Japan-made 2.3mm carbon fibre and it is of a symmetrical design with a mirrored motor pocket underneath the battery compartment for equal left-to-right flex characteristics. The part is usable on both asphalt and carpet tracks and it is available now.

Also new is the hard Silver Line TL3.4 “gold” spring. Designed for standard-size 1/10th on-road shocks the 25mm long spring has a rate of 340Gf/mm or 19.1lb/inch and it is made of 1.5mm wire. It complements the already existing TL2.7 to TL3.2 springs and comes with gold-colour markings for easy identification. Last but not least is the ultra-clear body repair tape. Coming in 30x500mm rolls the tape is virtually invisible once applied and its highly adhesive characteristics allow the use on curved or rough surfaces.
