Tebo sweeps Byron Fuels Heartland Off-Road Challenge

This past weekend would see the 2016 Byron Fuels Heartland Off-Road Challenge hosted by Fastlane R/C Raceway in Blue Springs, Missouri. In the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class, Jared Tebo (Kyosho) would go onto TQ all three rounds of qualifying to take the overall TQ honours. Tebo would then go onto dominate the entire 45-minute A-main event by leading every lap and take the win by over a lap with Kyosho teammate Cody King would go onto finish a solid second overall from third placed Ryan Lutz (Tekno).

In the 1/8 Electric Buggy class, Tebo would also go onto TQ all three rounds of qualifying and he then went onto win the single 10-minute A-main event by over 10 seconds, while also posting the fastest lap of the race to take home his second title of the weekend. Tekno’s Seth VanDalen would take the runner-up spot while Kyle Skidmore (Serpent) rounded out the top 3 results.
