Avid release new B6-series titanium option parts

Avid have introduced a range of titanium option parts for the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggies. First up are titanium battery posts that are of a very minimalistic and lightweight design. Weighing in at only 1.2g per set the mounting hardware allows to lower the battery brace by 0.5mm for those slim packs and included in the set come two billet 6AI-4V titanium posts and a pair of 7075-T6 aluminium nuts.

Next up are the B6-series titanium steering system screws. Shouldered to remove unwanted slop and measuring in at 2.99mm versus the original 2.91mm for a much tighter bearing fit, the screws also scrub about 3g of weight for an overall lower weight. Last but not least comes the full 90-piece titanium screw kit for the B6 and B6D. Machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium the set scrubs about 40 percent of weight for improved overall performance.
