Pro-Line introduce new carpet tyres & Z4 compound

Pro-Line are stepping up their artificial surface tyre game by introducing a range of new tyres and the soft Z4 rubber compound. Starting with the tyres, new to the range is the Wedge 4WD front buggy tyre. It offers the popular Wedge tread pattern in a 4WD Front tyre with the Hook-shaped pins provide plenty of steering without being too grabby or edgy and provide faster lap times. The Wedge 4WD front tyre is also very user-friendly because it does not require any hand trimming of pins for optimum performance.

Also new is the all-new Prism 2WD/4WD rear tyre. Its tread features 1,260 ultra-sharp Prism-shaped pins laid out in a unique pattern that grip the carpet better than hook and loop tape. The pins on the tyre are slightly smaller than the original Pin Point rear tyre but there are many more of them, which results in faster and more consistent lap times. The Prism has been positioned with the knife edge pointed front to back and side to side for maximum grip and to stay sharp even as they wear down. New to the range is also the Z4 rubber compound that is available for all of Pro-Line’s 1/10th carpet tyres. Softer than the proven Z3, the Z4 compound will excel on less grippy tracks or in colder temperatures. The Z4 rubber is available for tyre such as the 2WD and 4WD Wedge front tyres, the Pin Point 4WD front and 4WD rear tyres as well as the 1/10th SCT Pin Point and the new Wedge 4WD and Prism rear tyres.
