STRC 4-Tec 2.0 carbon & aluminium option parts

ST Racing Concepts have announced a range of graphite and CNC-machined aluminium option parts for the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 Ford GT and Mustang GT RTR cars. Designed to increase both the performance and durability of Traxxas’s latest on-road platform, first up are carbon fibre front and rear shock towers. They help keeping the suspension functioning properly in soaking up the bumps and providing traction by eliminating the plastic nylon shock towers and replacing them with high quality graphite parts. They are more rigid and do away with unwanted flex, leaving shocks to do their work properly while adding that factory racing look the car. The towers are available separately for the front and rear and they include suitable mounting hardware.

For those who are looking for a bit more bling, STRC have CNC-machined aluminium shock towers available, coming in blue, gun metal, red, and silver anodising. Next up are aluminium front and rear hinge pin blocks. They also function as suspension arm braces, providing more durability for the front and rear suspension in an event of a hard crash. Also new is a machined aluminium steering bellcrank set that replaces the plastic steering, eliminating flex and making for a more efficient transfer of the torque from the steering servo to the wheels. Another suspension upgrade are the front caster blocks whose alloy construction reduces flex and ups durability while the aluminium centre motor mount keeps the gear mesh intact even under hard load wan when running “hot” brushed or brushless motors. The above alloy options are available in blue, gun metal, red, and silver anodising.
