Mathieu Briere doubles at Labastide club race

The Labastide club near Toulouse in the south of France held a club race last weekend. In the 4WD Buggy class Mathieu Briere managed to TQ all three qualification rounds and he also took the overall win after coming out on top in the opening two A-mains. The 2nd place was taken by Antonio Da Silva and 3rd went to Sébastien Carrere who rounded out an all-Xray podium.

The 2WD Modified class was a different affair as Mathieu needed some time to sort out tyres for the wet conditions and it was young and talented Noha Ben Mohammed who took the overall TQ. However in the finals it was Mathieu who scored wins in A1 and A2 for the overall win from 8-years old Noha while Antonio Da Silva completed the all-Xray podium in 3rd.

In the 2WD Stock class the young guns made up the podium with 12-years old Titouan Peigne (Serpent) coming in 1st from 7-years old Baptiste Castelin (Xray) and 9-years old Clement Devautour (Xray).
