MRC Longwy Winter Series Rd3 – Report

The third round of the popular MRC Longwy Winter Series was held this past weekend. Hosted by the MRC Longwy club the event attracted a total of 88 drivers – a good amount given many other high-class races in the region and in Europe in general. The race was held in several electric on-road classes and in the premier Touring Modified category it was Lucas Urbain with the TQ and win from Cyril N’diaye in 2nd and Manual Wagner 3rd.

The popular Stock Expert class was TQ’d by Luxembourg’s Jacques Libar and he would also bring home the win after the triple A-mains from Thilo Tödtmann 2nd and Alexander Becker 3rd.

The Stock class saw Luca Becker walking away with the TQ and win from Theo Francois and Claude Hess in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The Formula category suffered from a somewhat lower entry but up front racing was tight and Jacques Libar took another TQ and win with Italy’s Davide Carbone coming in 2nd and Thilo Tödtmann rounding out the top 3. Finally in the Rookie class it was Marina Baczkiewicz who left behind Benoit Seidel with Prescillia Melacotte completing the top 3 result.
