Delaunay take Elite class win at French IC Track Nats Rd2

Round 2 of the French 1/8th On-road Nationals was held at the Neuville-de-Poitou track last weekend. In the Elite class, the qualification was held in difficult conditions as rain influenced all rounds but ultimately it was Anthony Abisset coming out fastest. In the 45-minute A-final it was Romain Delaunay who would hold the upper hand with a progressive tyre strategy, changing tires only one time, to take the win with a margin of only one second in front of Arnaud Mathieu, while Benjamin Brasset who completed the podium one lap down.
