Vogl & Havranek win Touring Car Euros warm-up

The warm-up race for the 2018 EFRA Electric Touring Car European Championship was held at the 1. MRC Wiener Neustadt track in Vienna, Austria last weekend. In the premier Touring Modified class, that attracted a total of 17 entries, it was Infinity’s Dominic Vogl with the overall TQ after coming out fastest in two of the four qualifiers. Xray’s Oliver Havranek and Alessio Menicucci, who won a qualifier each, came in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Touring 13.5T Stock Oliver made a near clean sweep, winning three qualifying rounds as Awesomatix’s Max Mächler, with one round TQ, came in 2nd.

In the Modified final Dominic took wins in all three A-main legs for the overall from Oliver 2nd and Alessio 3rd, meaning the top 3 would retain their qualifying positions.

In the Stock class Oliver snatched wins in A1 and A2 for an early overall win that allowed him to sit out A3. The final A-main was then won by Robin Riedmann who secured himself the final podium spot just behind Max Mächler on the runner-up spot.
