Michal Orlowski sweeps Dart Cup Rd6

The sixth and final round of the popular Schumacher Dart Cup 1:10 off-road series was held this past weekend at the Astroturf RC Track in Serock, Poland. Mother nature presented some unusual conditions for the drivers. The race started in hot summer weather with temperatures in the high 20°C range on Friday while on Saturday morning temperature dropped more than 10 degree Celsius and was only around 13°C. On midday the rain started and the rainy, windy autumn weather continued until the end of the race. What followed was a never ending search for the best tyres and setup for the changing track conditions.

The race attracted international top driver Michal Orlowski who would sweep both the 2WD and 4WD qualifiers and mains by taking overall TQ and race wins in both classes. Behind Michal it was an interesting battle for the 2nd and 3rd podium spots, as the wet track made the race very challenging. Iwo Czarnecki and Bartek Kramza as well as Sebastian Migal battled nose to tail. The race order changed many times as the slippery track would often catch the drivers out. After three finals in the 2WD class it was Iwo Czarnecki who took the 2nd place with Sebastian Migal in 3rd.

5. Bartlomiej Gogacz – Schumacher

The 4WD class saw the opposite order with Sebastian Migal 2nd and Iwo Czarnecki in 3rd.
