Sunday Race Cup Rd4 – Report

The fourth round of this year’s Sunday Race Cup was held at the HSH race tracks in Dintikon, Switzerland. 22 drivers in three categories signed in, making for good racing in perfect weather conditions. In Race Truck it was a clear win for Tobias Kunz in front of veteran racer, Luigi Manzo and Micha Kühne. Tobias had a perfect day with the TQ and wins in all three A-mains. Micha Kühne looked like he would wrap up the runner-up spot, however a crash in the final A-main meant that Luigi hold the upper hand to finish 2nd overall.

In the Formula class it was Mario Hässig taking the win in a very fair race. He could take the TQ and the first two A-mains while behind him it was a battle between Adriano Manupella, Andi Frattaroli and Sämi Waser. By winning the third A-main it was Adriano taking the 2nd place in front of Andi Frattaroli.

Last but not least come the Yokomo Racing Academy Kids, the strongest class of the weekend. This time and with a very strong driving Lucas Stiasny could take the TQ and first a-main win. Then after having some problems in the second A-main the race was open again but he would hold his nerves to strike back in A3 to take the overall win. After a very strong performance Calvin Kunz took second and Livio Manupella finished in 3rd.
