The final round of the Dutch IC Track Nationals was held at the EVMC Velp track last weekend. Due to unstable weather conditions practice was difficult and also the start of the race was still troublesome due to some small rain showers. In the 1/8th NK class qualifying Robbin Hertong managed to set the fastest time on a drying track with 14 laps. Round 7 of the Dutch IC Track Nationals was held at the popular AMCA Apeldoorn track this past weekend. In the premier 1/8th NK class it was ARC’s Robbin Hertong with the overall TQ from Serpent’s own Michael Salven on the runner-up spot after the qualifiers. In the 30-minute A-main final it was again Robbin who would excel, taking the win some four laps in front of Jesse Keller (Shepherd) as Joey Sorber (Shepherd) completed the top 3 podium result in 3rd, another lap down. The fourth round of this year’s Dutch IC Track Nationals was held at the MACH track in Heemstede this past weekend. In the premier 1/8th NK class it was Jesse Keller with the overall TQ some 1.2s in front of John Ermen as Joey Sorber came in 3rd, another five seconds behind. Last weekend the second round of the Dutch IC Track Nationals took place at the Raco2000 track in Utrecht. Perfect weather conditions made for nice days of racing and in premier 1/8th NK class it was Joey Sorber with the overall TQ and a new 12.887s track record from Arie Manten and Michael Salven. The Dutch NK 1/8th On-road Nationals kicked off at the fast and scrubby circuit in Rucphen at the MAC Banbrekers club. It was unclear whether some of the usual suspects would show up or not. John Ermen and team-bud Robbin Hertong went off to France which increased the chances of various drivers on an early season victory. Round 1 of the Dutch IC Track Nationals was held at the Baanbrekers track in Rucphen this past weekend. This year both the 1/8th and 1/10th classes will be run on the same weekend which makes for a busy Sunday for many. Also the Rucphen track will host the May round of the ENS, so many drivers used the event to get some laps under their belt. The Model Race Genk club played host to round 5 of the Dutch 1/8th scale IC Track Nationals last weekend. In the premier NK class it was Robbin Hertong with the win from Roy Bakker and Arie Manten. The race was held in beautiful summer weather and in the premier 1/8th NK class it was Robbin Hertong with the win in the 30-minute A-main some two laps in front of Jeffrey Rietveld in 2nd.
