Tekno RC have announced the departure of veteran racer, Ryan Lutz from their team. In late 2014, Ryan joined the company and with his help, Tekno have grown from a niche brand into a leading manufacturer in the RC industry. His presence brought the brand into the spotlight, and his many wins have helped Tekno RC rise toward the top of the leaderboard. Continuing their Racer in the Spotlight series, Serpent have interviewed European B Championship finalist Philip Eberle from Germany. Racing for 8 years Philip has already achieved some very good results in his home country but wishes to increase his racing level even higher and as such he will focus less on regional races and compete in more international events. Continuing their Racer in the Spotlight series, Serpent have interviewed last weekends Belgian Nationals winner, and 2006 European A Finalist, Robin d’Hondt. Robin has achieved a lot in his short time racing and despite a restricted race program this year, due to school commitments, he will take part in this years European Championships in Lostallo Switzerland as well as competing in his National Championship against team mate Steven Cuypers. …two of Florida’s top drivers to the team, Travis Scrambling and Tony Patishall. Travis has been racing for a while and has proven his skills at many of the nations top racing events. After a break from racing Travis chooses CEN Racing and the Matrix line of product to make the return to the spotlight and competitive racing. Tony Patishall is a seasoned racer and specializes in the Truggy class. Continuing their Racer in the Spotlight series, Serpent have interviewed factory drivers and the first brothers of Japanese racing, the Sahashi’s. These guys are seriously quick and according to their interview the youngest of the 2, Tadahiko, has been driven by the urge to beat his older brother Yuya anytime they go to the track and it has worked as Tadahiko has won the Japanese National championships for 1/10th 200mm and also TQ’d last years 1/8th scale Nationals.
