…the race victory and Daniel followed Michael closely for about two minutes into the race waiting for an opportunity to pass. The the heat of the race Michael hit a corner marker allowing Daniel to pass only to become passed by Michael the lap after. With 30 seconds to go Michael was held up by traffic badly, allowing Daniel to win not only the third final but also the meeting. Results – Top 3 1. Daniel Carlsson – Yokomo BD5WX 2. Series leader Ronald Volker has topped the opening qualifier at the fourth round of the Yokomo Euro Touring Series in Poland. Although he has dominated the first half of the 2010/11 ETS season the German was surprised to have TQ’d and said afterwards it was a lucky TQ as his rivals all made mistakes. The factory Yokomo driver said he had no idea why but hs LRP powered BD5WX did not have as much traction on fresh rubber as it did in yesterday final practice. View our complete event coverage here….

Yokomo have released details on their latest touring car, the BD5WX. Expected to ship later this month, it is a small update with the car featuring the hi traction main chassis as used by Ronald Volker to win the 2010 outdoor Euros. It is also supplied with a lightweight front spool with heavy duty outdrives, a rear gear differential, long type rear sway bar, a 8mm steering centre link and refined steering bell cranks.
