The 30-minute main event was extremely exciting in the Intermediate Nitro Buggy class as the top 3 drivers swapped many times for the lead. Coming from Kyosho and made for the EP and GP Mad Series monster truck kits are welded steel roll bar sets. The parts add cool looks and a bit of protection to the chassis and body area with the sets, that are available separately for the electric and gas-powered vehicles, include a roll bar each for the Mad Crusher and Mad Force Kruiser. The warm-up race for the 2018 IFMAR 1/8 Gas Buggy World Championship was held in Perth, Australia this week. The event saw the attendance of some of the world’s fastest racers with also a strong European contingent making the trip to down under. At the end of a long week it was HB Racing’s David Ronnefalk with the overall TQ and the win in the hour-long A-main event. In the final he jumped into the lead instantly and never looked back to take the title in a very controlled manner. In the 60 minute Pro Nitro Buggy A-main Ty’s dominance was not to stay as he was edged out by Kyosho’s Cody King who secured the win just ahead of Hot Bodies driver Ty Tessman.
