In the Invitational class it was former World Champion Yuichi Kanai that took the victory ahead of current Japanese National Champion Kazuya Tanaka in 2nd with newly crowned World Champion Cody King taking 3rd spot. As you can see from these videos of the Elite buggy final, it was really wet and this probably explains why the British racer Elliot Boots was able to win easily, using all those skills gained racing in the often wet and miserable UK Nationals. How good is this engine, well Bertin qualified his CRF powered Kyosho in 9th place in Elite buggy at the Masters, but without knowing the full details, its hard to judge the motor based on this performance.
